Maya- spain

Maya is preparing to attend a DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Spain.
She is doing a Compassion DTS called La Mesa (The Table). She will be travelling to Vigo, Spain, where she will attend the DTS program on the small island of Moaña, located approximately 15 minutes by ferry from Vigo.
Maya is seeking to experience God in a completely different environment, stepping away from her everyday life in Newman to spend the next five months growing deeper in her faith and living out the Great Commission.
Through this journey, Maya hopes to witness what God is doing around the world, learn how to love and serve others as Jesus did, and intentionally focus on her relationship with God each day.

Miki's Story- germany

Miki completed a six-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM in Nuremberg, Germany. The program consisted of three months of classroom lectures followed by three months of outreach in Ethiopia, Africa.
During the lecture phase, she spent time growing in her understanding of Jesus, learning to hear God's voice, and deepening her walk with Him. The outreach phase provided the opportunity to put those lessons into practice through serving others, living in obedience, and sharing the love and hope of Christ.
For Miki, YWAM became a season of profound transformation. Away from the distractions and routines of everyday life, God used that time to bring healing, reveal deeper truths, and draw her into a closer relationship with Him. While she continues to grow in her faith, she reflects on DTS as a turning point that changed the direction of her life.
She often describes the experience as if God had pulled her aside during the "lunch rush" of life for uninterrupted one-on-one time with Jesus. Through that season of healing, growth, and revelation, her relationship with God was strengthened, and she left with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper confidence in following Him.
